Axis Brutality
LONDON, June 29
Brutality of the Axis forces in three occupied countries was reported today. Polish circles in London state that the Germans machine-gunned 150 Dutch Jews, deported to the Polish village of Turks, after which they burned down the village. The Germans also burned alive 14 Poles at Cminsk and 34 at Mniow, in Kielce district.
Moscow radio says members of the Axis in Lithuania shot more than 5000 people in Vilna and district following the assassination of a German commandant.
According to Algiers radio, 50,000 hostages have been shot or guillotined in France since 1940.
French patriots, this year sabotaged 2000 railway carriages which the Germans confiscated.
