PUBLIC NOTICES RATIONAL pARTY ELECTION OF CANDIDATE I have agreed to offer myself for selection as National Party candidate for Marsden. I have been induced to do so by the knowledge that I am below the average age of men now in politics and in the belief that my training, experience and reading will equip me for assisting in the solution of the problems of the next 20 years. To those members of the party and to those of the public who would like to see in politics younger men with new and progressive ideas, I issue an invitation to join the National party if they are not yet members, to become financial if they are already members and, in both instances, support my nomination in the coming ballot to be held by the National Party. To be effective, any such enrolment or payment of subscription must be made on or before NEXT THURSDAY, JULY 1. The Secretary of the Party in Marsden is Mr. J. L. S.
