Patriotic Dance At Kaikohe
With the hall crowded with visiting "mldiens. a happv evening’s dancing was enjoved at the Kaikohe National Patriotic Fund Eoard’s hut on Monday night. Held by the local patriotic committee in conjunction with the W.W.S.A., the evening'proved highly successful from both entertainment, and financial aspects, the funds benefiting considerably from the takings at the door. . Bright music at the piano was supplied bv Mrs. L. Davison and an artilleryman. 'The floor, which had been idle for some weeks, was soon livened up into a good condition, which was appreciated by the dancers. Supper provided bv the ladies was partaken of in an adjoining hut, formerly the billiard room. The National Anthem brought the dance to an end at 1 a.m.
