R.A.F. Heavy Bombers Raid Bangkok.

(8.0. W., 1 p.m.) RUGBY, Dec. 28. | The New Delhi communique states that about midnight on Sunday a considerable force of our heavy bombers were over Bangkok, capital of Thailand, where various targets were effectively bombed. A large arsenal and powder factory north of the city was hit. Bangkok aerodrome, one of the most important enemy fields in occupied countries, was successfully attacked. At the same time the naval dock area of the city was hit with heavy bombs, which caused damaging fires. None ot our aircraft is missing. A New Delhi communique reports a small raid on the Calcutta area at 4 a.m. today with slight damage and less than; 10 casualties. Other enemy planes, reported about the same time over Eastern j Bengal, bombed two places with slight ■ damage and a few casualties.
