OBITUARY
Mi*. D. O. Rutherford
(PA.) CHRISTCHURCH. Dec. 19. The death has occurred of Mr. Duncan Oliver Rutherford, aged G2. He was born on Montrose Station, North Canterbury, and was a well-known run-hoider for many years before he purchased the Almora state of 50 acres at Riccarton and undertook the breeding of thoroughbreds. Among the, horses which he raced in partnership with his brother, Mr. Godfrey Rutherford, were Erin-go-Bvagh, Jewell, Makaroff, Tuahine and Tuirau,
