Wants Free Albania
(Rec. J 2.30 p.m.) RUGBY. Dec. 17. Mr Anthony Eden in the House ol' Commons said that Britain wishes to see Albania freed from the Italian yoke and restored to independence. The form of regime and government to be introduced would be a matter for the Albanian people themselves to decide at the end of the war. That, he said, did not in any way prejudice the question of Albania’s position in relation to such future arrangements as might be reached.
Amnesties: —The Spanish Governmeir has granted amnesties to 5323 politics prisoners.
