3 Mrs. C. Hansen, of Wallace Street, is again an inmate of the Whangarei District Hospital. The following have been appointed members of the Health Board by a notice in the Gazette last night: Alfred James Baker, John William Andrews and Frederick Castle. This afternoon the Governor-General and Lady Newall will leave Wellington for Nelson, where His Excellency will open the Abel Tasman National Park at Torrent Bay. Their Excellencies will return to Wellington on Saturday afternoon. The following appointments and promotions of officers on active service with the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force were gazetted last night: Major J. C. Holmes, Major A. W. White and Major J. H. Sutherland, M.C., to be temporary lieutenant-colonels.
