Sensational Fire At Pittsburg

NEW YORK, Dec. 16,
A fireman was killed, 128 others were overcome by smoke and 1000 guests escaped injury in a fire in the basement of the 22 storey William Penn Hotel, Pittsburg. The Fire Chief said it was the worst smoke battle in the city’s history. The damage is estimated at 75.000 dollars.
