Desert Lull Continues
(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 14. A Cairo communique states: “During the night of August 12 our patrol activity continued, and casualties were inflicted on enemy patrols and working parties in the northern sector. Our artillery shelled a position on the central sector.
Yesterday there was nothing to report from our land forces. Throughout the day fighter bombers attacked enemy vehicles and encampments. Our light bombers sank at least one motor lighter off the African coast.
