Enlistments In A.I.F.
(Rec.l p.m.) MELBOURNE. This Day. Militiamen and permanent soldiers between the ages of 19 and 40 may now enlist in (he A.I.F. Announcing, this the Allied Land Force Headquarters said the age limit might be extended to 45 for those on technical duties. Only those medically lit would ho allowed to enlist. Those who could volunteer for the A.I.F. (service at home or abroad) included men called up for universal training and Allied nationals and naturalised aliens who had volunteered for the militia.
