Instruments For Navy
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Some time ago an appeal was made for nautical instruments for the Royal New Zealand Navy and the response exceeded expectations. The Minister for Defence (Mr. Jones), thanking donors of instruments, which included chronometers, compasses, theodolites. etc., said these would prove of considerable assistance to the Navy in maintaining its fighting efficiency.
