London Hospitals Need 5000 More Nurses
[British .Official Wireless] (Rec. 12.50 p.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 8. “Hospitals in the London region employ about 27,500 nurses but 5000 more are needed.” Miss Florence Horsburgh, M.P. (Con. Dundee) speaking in London, coupled this statement with an appeal to the women of London to come forward and staff their own hospitals.
