With indications of good weather conditions, the Auckland Racing Club seems assured of a successful summer meeting, commencing at Ellerslie on Friday. The Auckland Cup, with prize money of £3450, has attracted 23 probable runners, with slight pre-race favouritism l'or the four-year-old Beau Leon.
