Prisoners’ Parcels

LONDON, Dec. 23.
Mr and Mrs W. J._ Jordan attended a gathering at the New Zealand Red Cross packing centre. Dr. Ben Myers referred to the good work the centre was doing and proposed a toast to each New Zealand prisoner of war. He hoped that all would soon be able to return to their kith and kin.
Mrs Burke, who is in charge of the packing centre, said a next-of-kin parcel containihg warm! underclothing, toilet requisites and chocolate was sent to each New Zealand prisoner of war, and a further parcel would be sent to each man during the first quarter of the New Year.
