Romantic Comedy Heads New Regent Programme
AMUSEMENTS
Romantic Cesar Romero and blonde Carol Landis head the cast of the gay romantic comedy, “Dance Hall,” which opened at the Regent Theatre last evening as the principal attraction on the new double-feature programme. Romero is cast as the manager of a dance hall with quite a reputation with the fair sex, but he utterly fails to make an impression on Miss Landis, a newcomer to the dance hall. He commences a campaign to sooth his wounded pride and the results are most amusing and entertaining. Romance and music are combined in the associate attraction, “Sweetheart of the Campus,” which features Ruby Keeler, Ozzie Nelson and his band and Harriet Hilliard.
