Cairo-Teheran.—A new civil air service has been started between Cairo and Teheran bv British crews flying American Loekheed-Lodestar machines. The service will form another link with Russia. Chaplin Remembers. —Charles Chaplin the film actor, has sent a cheque fo: £6OO to the mayor of his native borough. Lambeth, for distribution to charity. The house in which he used to live in Lambeth has been badly damaged by bombs.
