Hold-Up On Auckland Wharves
TSpecial to "Northern Advocate"! AUCKLAND, This Day. On Saturday night the working of a cargo ship was halted following a dispute between the stevedores and union waterside workers. The unionists stopped work at 5 p.m., the regulation hour when no call for late labour has been made, and the loading was continued by non-unionists and the shipping companies formen until 7.20, when the non-unionists also stopped. The dispute was confined to the one vessel, five others being worked both on Saturday and yesterday.
