W.W.S.A. Signal Unit And Home Guard Will Co-operate
Members of the signalling units of the Women's War Service Auxiliary, who have been displaying great enthusiasm in this branch of their work, are to receive signalling instruction in conjunction with Home Guard units in some districts of Northland.
This has been arranged with a view to the women acting as auxiliaries should the need arise. Area-Officer at Whangarei (Lieut.Colonel H. F. Chandler) stated today that signalling establishment throughout Northland was now being finalised and personnel was being appointed.
