October Air Raid Casualties In Britain
(Rec. 11 a.m.) RUGBY, Nov. 14. The Ministry for Home Security announced that the figures for civilian casualties due to air raids on the United Kingdom during October were 262 killed or missing, believed killed, and 361 injured and detained in hospital. Details were: Men killed or missing. 136; women, 92; children, 34. Injured: men, 186; women, 129; children, 46.
