Ladies With The Lamp In All Theatres
LONDON, Nov. 14. British nurses are in the front line all over the world, says a British Official Wireless message. Some, according to a War Office bulletin, have seer, the Navy in action, and others have seen general and, often exacting, service at sea. One nurse, for instance, was transferred from one ship to another in midocean to nurse a seaman who became ill at sea. Another nursed a woman who had been severely injured in a trawler and stayed with her after all the others had been transferred to a destroyer.
