King Leopold’s Name Day
[Per Press Association.—Copyright.] WELLINGTON. This Day. The name day of Leopold. King of the Belgians, falls today, and according to a cablegram received by the Belgian Consulate-General in New Zealand the Belgian Government is having a Te Deum song in the Belgian Chum, in London on this occasion. Information has also been received that on King Leopold’s birthday, on November 3, the Vice-Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps accredited- to the Court of St. James called, as in previous years, upon the Belgian Ambassador, Baron de Cartier de Marchienne, to present the greeting of the King of Great Britain.
