Promises To Russia Will Be Redeemed

(Rec. 2.30 p.m.) RUGBY. Nov. 13. The Minister for War Transport (Lord Leathers) in a speech, said that the pledges given at the Moscow conference for aid to Russia will , be redeemed to the full. A programme of priorities and shipments had been prepared, and it would be very cheering if he could give details of this formidable programme. , He had assessed the amount of shipping required, and whatever strain it imposed on us, there would be no shortage of tonnage to fulfil our promises. “We are getting everything we know into the effort to secure the swift and safe delivery of those munitions to Russia,” he said. “Much has already reached Russia, much is on the way, and much more is to go. We shall deliver the goods.”
