Trawler Shoots Down Dornier Plane

[British Official Wireless] (Rec. 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Nov. 13 An Admiralty communique states that a Dornier 17, which attacked the British trawlers Francolin and Commander Holbrook yesterday, was shot down into the sea by the combined lire of the two trawlers. In the engagement, the Francolin was hit by a bomb, and she subsequently sank, one man losing his life. There were no survivors from the crew of the Bernier.
