Watersiders Buying’ Ambulance For Russia
TPer Pros'; Association. —OonyrtehU WELLINGTON, This Day. A collection was taken up among members of the Wellington Waterside Workers’ Union yesterday in aid of the purchase of an ambulance to be supplied to Russia by the Federation of Labour and the Trades Union Council. The sum of £ 68/8/6 was collected and further receipts .are expected to bring the total to £7O. Previously £65/11/- was raised by Wellington watersiders for Christmas gifts for members of the union serving with the British forces overseas.
