Auxiliary Firemen Resume Practices
Acting on the advice of the Medical Officer of Health, the practice drills of the Whangarei auxiliary firemen were suspended a few weeks ago on account of the outbreak of meningitis in the Bay of Islands district. With the waning of the outbreak, practices will be resumed tonight. There are 14 auxiliary firemen in Whangarei, and all are progressing well with their training.
