All Arms Join In Tigris Push
(Rec. 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, May. 25. A Cairo communique reports Ahat repairs to the bund and roads in the vicinity of Fallujah are proceeding. Operations against a rebel concentration about six miles up the Tigris from Basra were successfully carried out by our troops with the co-operation of the Royal Navy and R.A.F. The situation at Basra is quiet. Flooding Delays
An earlier communique issued by British headquarters in Cairo states that damage to roads from intensive flooding around Fallujah, in Iraq, has caused a temporary pause in operations in this area.
