May 25. f Axis aircraft losses for the week f ended at dusk yesterday totalled 721 against 29 by the R.A'F. 4 Over Britain, and round the British | coasts, the Germans lost 11, of which 1 two were at night, against the R.A.F.’s 4 four. | Over Germany and occupied terri-1 tory, the Germans lost six and the! RA..F. 10, of which one was at? night. | In the Middle East,, the Axis lost 43 f in the air and 10 on the ground, while J the R.A.F. lost 15. | One enemy aircraft was destroyed! by a merchant ship on May 19, and J one by a naval vessel on May 18. *
