A Busy Day
[Special to "Northern Advocate”! AUCKLAND, This Day. The Rt. Hon. R. G. Menzies was in conference with the Hon. W. Nash and the Hon. D. G. Sullivan throughout the morning, and afterwards lunched with them. At 2.30 this afternoon he deposited a wreath on the Cenotaph, and then went to Fort Bastion to lay a wreath on the tomb of the late Prime 1 Minister (Mr Savage). Later he was accorded a civic reception at the town hall.
