Schoolboy Golf Tournament
TSpecial to “Northern Advocate”] AUCKLAND, This Day.
Flayers from Whangarei, Christchurch, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Hamilton took part in the annual schoolboys’ golf tournament controlled by the Remuera Gclf Club yesterday. The championship, a 36-holes scratch medal event, was won by D. J. Merringtcn (Auckland Grammar School) with a score of 84, 77-161. The next best scores were: N. McKinley (Auckland Technical), 89, 75-164; G. Adams (Auckland Grammar) 83, 84167; J. K. Hughes (Kings’ College) 82, 85-167.
