Auckland City Gives £7292 In Two Days
[Special to "Northern Advocate”J AUCKLAND, This- Day.
During the last two days £7292 has been raised in the Auckland Metropolitan Zone towards the Fighting Forces Fund, making the total up to yesterday £20,897.
Following are the positions of the various collecting groups: Fighting services and public service, £5425; professional and arts and crafts, £4003; drapery and boots, £3354; building trades, £2159; transport and public bodies, £2025; motion picture and entertainment, £1972; food and liquor, £*1954.
Sunk. —The Admiralty has announced that the naval auxiliary vessel Camito has been sunk.
