Kamo Give Seniors Interesting Game
Old-Boys-Nomads lost four for 41 in a friendly game with Kamo. Fred Cole made most of these, and then L. Madden, who has been the most consistent rungetter in Whangarei lately, hit up an undefeated 78 (9 fours, 1 six).
Kamo batsman went well against the senior attack, Conaghan lasting nearly an hour, and pulling everything on the leg side effectively. Cld Boys-Nomads 168 (F. Cole 40, L. Madden 78; Rev. Cole took three for 52).
