TIMARU, This Day.
Prompt date for the wool appraisement held in Timaru on January 25, when 18,116 bales were appraised fell yesterday. Proceeds ■ amounted to £317,275, which gave an average of 12.61 d per lb, or £l7 10/3 a bale.
Three bales of Merino from Mr J. E. Cameron, of Ben Ohau station, realised 21 id, six bales 21d, and seven bales 20d.
