DUNEDIN, This Day.
The inter-island express steamer Rangatira, which ran aground in Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula, on Sunday morning, arrived at Dunedin at 10 o’clock last night from Lyttelton. The voyage down the coast was accomplished in fine weather and .without incident, although it was found necessary to keep the pumps working continuously. The ship»will go into dock tomorrow for survey, after which the necessary repairs will be undertaken. Before the Rangatira left Lyttelton yesterday morning the hole in the hull was concreted as a temporary-measure to minimise the leak.
