Lance-Corporal A. Auton was home from Kensington Park at the weekend.
Signalman C. E. Messenger, who has been on sick leave, returned to Kensington Camp on Tuesday. Over 50 farmers from the Umawera and Tutekehua districts met in the Umawera Hall to hear an address by Mr Hastings, organiser for the New Zealand Co-op Pig Marketing Association. Mr M. Mulcahy was in the chair. A committee was set up as follows: Messrs M. Mulcahy (Tutekehua), W. H. Robinson (Omahuta) and O. Wooster (Umawera). Mr Mulcahy was appointed convener.
