Prisoners.—lt is authoritatively stated that there are 1,410,000 prisoners of war in Germany, including British, French and some Poles and others. They, are distributed over 120 camps, some of which hold 70,000 prisoners each. Of the total, 1,189,000 at present are gainfully employed under the conditions laid down by'the Geneva Convention.
