Swimming Pool Search
Search in the swimming pool at Central Park w,as carried out this morning for a pair of valuable spectacles dropped in the water yesterday afternoon. The pool was drained but no trace, of the missing .aids to vision was discovered. The growth of weed, which was cleared recently, has been rapid and, with eight feet of water at the deepest part, allowed djittle chance of recovery. At the same time Whangarei Borough Council workmen cut hack willows which had been obstructing the view 0* the pool,
