"Tracked By Mystery Ship”

(Received 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, August 15. The 6655-ton Norwegian steamer Thermopylae sent S.O.S. signals giving her position as 38.25 degrees north and 66.30 degrees west. The vessel was evidently being attacked by a submarine. The Mack ay Radio states that v:he.n questioned the Thermopylae asserted that she was not in distress, but was being tracked by a mystery ship. Her position was about 370 miles from New York. Mackay Radio authorities assert that the ship's first signals were those used by a vessel attacked by a submarine.
