Automatic Increase In Guaranteed Price?
[Per Press Association. Copyright.] WELLINGTON. This Day.
The Dominion secretary of the Farmers' Union (Mr A. P. O'Shea) replying to an inquiry yesterday regarding the question of the extension of the wages increase to cover farm workers, said that, according to the agreement with Ihe Government, an increase in the wages of dairy farm workers would automatically bring about an increase in tlie guaranteed price, because increases in the guaranteed price meant automatic increases in farm workers' wages and vice-versa.
