Northland Dairy Associataion Officers
Four nominations were received for the executive of three at the annual conference of the Northland Dairy Conference today.. The vote resulted in the election of Messrs E. G. Appleton (Northern Wairoa), S. W. Smith (Bay of Islands), sittings members, and Mr D. A. Finlayson (Maungaturoto). The newcomer to the executive, Mr Finlayson, made it clear that military service might occupy several months’ of his time during the year. Mr S. W. Smith (Bay of Islands) was re-elected representative on the Auckland Provincial Dairy Factory Employers’ Association, and Mr J. B. Gilmore was reappointed auditor.
Belgians.—lt is disclosed that the Belgian Prime Minister (M. Pierlot) and the Ministers for Foreign Affairs, Defence and the arrived in London yesterday.*
