Here’s a winter's evening hobby for you, Northlanders the making of lino cuts. It’s ever so simple if you have an eye for art. This elephant’s picture was cut into a piece of thick cork lino. The parts that should remain white are cut away. Afterwards ink is rolled on to the block and the print taken under pressure. Try your hand at lino cuts, Northlanders. It’s great fun.
