Women With Parachute, Men's Clothing, Charged at Dublin
: / DUBLIN, May 26. A woman, whose husband is believed to be in Germany, Was charged under the Emergency Powers Act by a special military court. In asking that accused should be remanded in custody, the prosecutor alleged that, in addition to a parachute and other military matter, the police had discovered certain articles of men’s clothing. - The evidence’ would show that these were recently purchased by accused, who was actively assisting in a conspiracy to prevent the apprehension of a person who had committed a most serious offence affecting the safety of the State. In Belfast, ■ the police swooped on I.R.A. suspects. ' It is officially stated that 76 have been arrested in Northern Ireland, and ate beng detained for the duration of the war.' - *. - , ‘
