School Scores 10 Tries Against Hikurangi

FIFTH GRADE

In the fifth grade game between Hikurangi and School A at Rugby Park, the home team ran up 33 points to nil. School had all the best of the game, both forwards and hacks combining well and using nearly every opportunity. Scorers were Langdon (2), Groves (2),'Fox (2)j Coulter, Harwood, Rogers and Fraser, Fox kicking a penalty. Not one try was converted. A feature of the game was the achievement of Fox, who scored his two tries from the full-back position. HORA HORA BEATS ONERAHI IN HIGH SCORING GAME. In a high scoring game at RugbyPark, Hora Hora fifths defeated Onevahi by 32 points to 15. Although four men short, Onerahi made a good effort against a stronger combination. Tries for Hora Hora were scored by McLeod (3), Hill (2), Posa, Thompson,, McNay and I*evats, Beehre kicking a penalty. Only one of the tries was converted, McLeod being successful. For Onerahi, tries were scored by Cartwright (3), Rowlands and Pitman, none being converted. 7.IATDNU RUNS UP 41 POINTS AGAINST SCHOOL B. Only one team was in the picture when Maiinu beat School B in the fifth grade game at Rugby Park. Maunu ran up 41 points before time was called, the forwards paving the way for the backs to flash into action and overwhelm the' defence, School B failing to score.
