Fuel Tanks Hit At Bergen

LONDON, May 11

The Fleet Air Arm made two further attacks on the enemy at Bergen, says an Admiralty communique.

In one attack naval aircraft obtained three hits on an enemy warship believed to be the Bremse, a gunnery training ship of 1460 tons. In the second" a complete surprise was achieved. The enemy fuel tanks were heavily attacked and damaged. Two of the largest were set on fire, and the flames were seen to spread. Since April 8. the Fleet Air Arm has shot down 20 enemy aircraft off Norway, besides accounting for many others on the ground. A further 50 enemy aircraft have been destroyed by fleet anti-aircraft fire.
