World’s Fair Re-opened
NEW YORK, May 11. The New York World’s Fair has been reopened. President Roosevelt, in a message, said: “The fair is a symbol of international commonsense deserving every success.” New features of the Australian pavilion include a topographic model of Canberra pointing the parallel between Canberra and Washington. A special section, “Australia at War,” includes photographs of troops in Australia and Palestine.
