Bombs On Brussels
(Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, May 10. The Belgian Prime Minister (M. Pierlot) said in a statement that bombs had fallen in many places in Brussels. Fires had broken out at several points at Etterbeek, while a bomb had fallen at Madon, near the centre of Brussels, causing: fire, damage and casualties. Several air fights occurred above Tournai, accompanied by heavy antiaircraft fire. Authoritative Report. Authoritative information received from Brussels reports air attack on several centres, particularly Brussels and Antwerp. The bombing of Brussels began at 5 a.m. and continued until 6.15 a.m. Every aerodrome near the capital was attacked, and a military hospital at Bergeonopzoon was among the places bombed. King Leopold and the Royal Family are remaining in Belgium.
