Swiss Railways Bombed
It is officially stated that foreign aeroplanes bombed the railway between Delemont and Moutier, about 20 miles south-west of Basle. The railway was damaged, but traffic is continuing. Other foreign aeroplanes flew over Switzerland General mobilisation has been decreed. Soviet diplomats say Russia has warned Britain, France, Germany and Italy that she will not tolerate any Balkan adventure, says the Sofia correspondent of the Associated Press. Reports are growing in the Balkans that military talks between Russia and Yugoslavia will open soon, but Russia is believed to be keener for a rapprochement than Yugoslavia. '
