“I’m A Winner” Art Union
[Per Press Association. Copyright.'] WELLINGTON, This Day. A feature of the drawing of the “I’m a Winner” art union last night was the success of North Island tic-ket-holders. The first prize of £2OOO was drawn by a Wellington butt, believed to have been sold at the Centennial Exhibition. Major prize-winners are: First, £2000.-77231, “Oh, for a Nice Cup of Tea,” Wellington. Second, £IOOO.-150962, “Two Old Maids,” Christchurch Third, £500.-107507, Tongchat, Lyall Bay. Fourth, £400.-96162, Matt Handley. Paeroa. Fifth, £300.-96595, “The Kid,” Te Aroha. Sixth, £200.-48401, “Anzac,” Christchurch. Seventh, £IOO. —33194, H. Crompton, Rai Valley, Nelson. Prizes of £5 were won by ticketholders in Northland, as follows: 175017, “Golden Crest,” Ruawai; 142670. Mr Wheeler, Otaika, Whangarei.
