Hukerenui F.U. Officers Elected
' The Hukerenui branch of the Farmers’ Union held their annual meeting on Saturday afternoon. The retiring chairman, Mr T. Seymour, and secretary, Mr A. Wiblin, have been associated with the Hukerenui branch in their respective positions for over 15 years. j Mr Seymour is retiring from the presidency on account of ill-health, ! and Mr Wiblin was voted to the posi- , tion. Both were accorded a very i hearty vote of thanks for their past : services. ! The election resulted—President, 1 Mr A. Wiblin; vice-presidents, Messrs ! W. H. Wilkinson, F. C. Bettesworth, Cl. Hayes and W. J. Thorburn; secrei tary and treasurer, Mr W. A. Sheehan; | delegates, Messrs A. Wiblin, H. Rusk j and B. Coutts; auditor, Mr B. Coiltts.
