A pleasant evening was spent in the school on April 13, when a gift evening was tendered to Miss Myrtle Whittle. The proceedings took the form of a dance. Mr L. Price was M.C. At the supper interval, Mr Price.expressed the good wishes of all present to Miss Whittle and her fiance, who were accorded musical honours. Mr Galbraith replied on behalf of Miss Whittle. Cpening the parcels was a very pleasant interlude. A dainty supper was handed round. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss Maude Price and Mr C. Holland.
