The Perfect Blend!
At a corner of a table at the Whangarei Early Settlers’ luncheon today, a group of Nova Scotian old timers were having a private reunion, in a language unknown to an English pioneer sitting alongside. One of them apologised to their friend for speaking in Gaelic. “There’s .something about Scotch whisky and Gaelic which blends.” he explained.
